Masham Market

Masham market
Masham Town Crier

In Masham, our thriving market received its first charter from Henry III in 1251. We have a beautiful Georgian market place, holding regular market days as well as speciality markets throughout the year. As you could see from the aerial view, we have plenty of space for stalls and visitors!

When to visit:

General market: Every Wednesday, Saturday and Bank Holiday Monday

Farmers' Market: 1st Sunday of the month from April to September.

We plan to make three weekends this year into Spring, Summer and Autumn Market Festivals, all incorporating a Farmers' Market. So watch this space to see what is in store for visitors and families.

  • Spring Festival 30th April, 1st and 2nd May (Bank Holiday weekend)
  • Summer Festival 30th and 31st July (incorporating Yorkshire Day)
  • Autumn Festival 1st & 2nd October
